My first PR package just came in! And I’m so happy that Clay and Glow sent me their first product! It’s the Pink Clay mask and I’m going to try and review it.
Clay and Glow
Before Clay and Glow launched their product they built their community on Instagram and really got to know their followers. Instead of focusing on sales, like most brands do, they find it very important to listen to their community.
Here, at Clay And Glow, we think we should more focus on the customer and community. YOU are the one that is the beauty expert of YOUR skin and you know best what works for YOU, so why shouldn’t we listen to YOU? That is where we are all about!
~ Clay and Glow
In their researching months before they launched their product they learned a lot about the beauty industry. They did this by making polls, asking questions and having one-on-one conversations. Just to create their first product: the Pink Clay mask!
The Pink Clay mask
Okay, let’s get to their mask now! They’ve chosen to make their product straightforward by not using any difficult ingredients that nobody knows. Besides, it’s fully focused on a quick glow-up which is easy to apply on the face and effective in 10 minutes. It fights the dirt out of your pores and detoxifies your skin. That sounds very attractive to me!
This mask contains 4 power ingredients. Let’s take a quick look at those:
- Red + Beige clay
These two clay sorts combined with their natural mineral powder makes the mask Pink! The red clay is perfect for the sensitive skin. It enhances the condition and appearance of the skin. The beige clay detoxifies the face and absorbs and removes the dirt.
- Black Quinoa
I’m not a skincare specialist but this ingredient is unknown to me in a mask. But who am I?
It contains a high dose of vitamin E and it helps to restore the damaged skin because of its stimulating new collagen synthesis. Besides, it contains vitamin B which reduces dark spots and helps brighten the skin.
- Açai Berry
I’ve heard of Açai bowls but in a mask? I’m not a health freak and never eaten it. It’s fun that they decide to put this in the mask while they were actually eating an Açai bowl . I’m curious about the effects: It contains a high amount if antioxidants and is anti-inflammatory that fight acne and gets rid of impurities.
- Aloë Vera
This is great for the anti-aging process and boosts the cell turnover. Aloe Very also sooths and heals burns or redness.
The mask is also:
- Paraben free
- Free of PEGs
- Perfume free
- Cruelty free
- 100% Vegan
- Gluten free
Knowing this all makes me even more excited about the mask that Clay and Glow created! The mask comes in a 100 ml jar with a free brush to apply the mask. You can decide to only order the mask or a kit with face cloth and headband.
I’ve tried the mask twice now and I’m happily surprised! In the past I’ve tried so many sorts of masks and I never really liked one. First, I was a little skeptical and thought this one wouldn’t work for me as well. And no, this isn’t a sales pitch! The fact that the mask is free of paraben, perfume, PEGs, gluten and cruelty and vegan is a huge PRO.
The mask feels creamy on the skin and with the application brush which is so tiny and cute applies it perfectly. The headband and face cloth are made of 100% microfiber and feels very soft on the skin. When I have the mask on my face it dries fast. But it doesn’t feel dry or grainy like most clay masks do. After washing the mask off my skin feels clean and glows so beautifully. This glow stays for days and not just a day. I’m also happy that the mask doesn’t have to work in for, like, 30 minutes. After 10 minutes you can rinse it off already. I would highly recommend you to try this mask if you haven’t found the right mask yet. The mask costs €39,99 and €49,99 with face cloth and head band. You can also go for a bestie pack which is €63,99 so you can mask with your bff ! You can order the Pink Clay mask on the website of Clay and Glow and they ship worldwide for FREE!
Final jugdment: A big YAAAY off course!
I really can’t wait for more to come from Clay and Glow. In the meantime, I’ll stick with this mask!
Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried many mask and if you found your favorite! Are you going to try the Clay and Glow Pink Clay mask?
‘till next time!
